Claire Wortsman received her JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and was a summer student at
Chernos Flaherty Svonkin LLP in 2022. At Osgoode, Claire worked as a Research Assistant under
Professor D’Agostino for Osgoode’s Intellectual Property Law and Technology Program. In
addition to volunteering with Artists’ Legal Advice Services, she was a Senior Editor at the
IPilogue and a Clinic Fellow at the Innovation Clinic. In her third year, Claire was a member of
the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot team. Upon graduation, she was awarded the
Honourable N.W. Rowell Prize in Public International Law and recognized for her contributions
to the IPilogue.
Claire’s prior experience includes working with several associations focusing on policy
development. Claire graduated from the International Studies program at Boston College with a
minor in Management and Leadership and competed as a member of the Boston College Fulton
Debate Society, placing in numerous regional and national policy debate tournaments at the
varsity level.
